Elcar had been on Dark Shadows (the vampire soap) and in the 1973 hit film The Sting Elcar is looking over a bloody Robert Redford in the film's climax. It is possible that Elcar creeped out the producers of the Sting and they wrote that scene in for him. So I wonder if Elcar did a lot to scare Anderson.
