I know it is was corny and a poor excuse for a spin-off entitled "Out of The Blue", but I haven't seen it for a while and I was wondering if anybody had any pics or explaination as to how this was played out.

View Full Version : The episode where Chachi sells his soul.. 88survivor 04-27-2007, 08:03 AM I know it is was corny and a poor excuse for a spin-off entitled "Out of The Blue", but I haven't seen it for a while and I was wondering if anybody had any pics or explaination as to how this was played out. comedyfreak 04-27-2007, 09:41 AM I haven't seen this in awhile, but from what I remember Fonzie won Chachi's freedom. I remember the devil does magic and Fonzie overcomes it. Speaking of Out Of The Blue I remember that show, I sort of liked it even though it didn't last too long. anglemark10 04-27-2007, 10:41 AM Chachi had sold his soul to the devil so that he would be more grown up. It kind of backfired on him, so Fonzie would have been able to get him out of it if he could go 24 hours without being kissed by a girl. Unfortunately, Marion kissed him seconds before time was up, so Melvin, the devil's nephew, came to take Fonzie and Chachi. His magic didn't work, though, because, according to Fonzie, the only thing that can beat the devil is love. It turns out the whole thing was a dream, anyway. It's wasn;t a spinoff, it was a crossover between Out of the Blue and Happy days the 3rd week of the 1979-80 season. Out of the Blue started in the fall of 1979 and the Character Random on Out of the Blue made an apperance on HD to bring more Viewers to the Out of the Blue show. I would just say according to the 1979 TV guide in my Cabinet, not Tv.com-lol That's what I based it on 88survivor 04-27-2007, 10:58 PM Reading the plot of the episode though, I am reminded of The Lord of The Rings trilogy... Frodo is Fonzie and Sam is Chachi... Sorry, just had a bizarre idea if you transport those two in the LOTR trilogies...Frodo and Sam have the ring, but they don't have Fonzie's super cool thumb powers or Chachi's romancing with the females Elf. Sorry, just had to think what a preview this would be if they did a crossover. wayne 05-16-2007, 01:42 PM We forget that the whole episode is a dream by Chachi. I wish every episode featuring Chachi was someone's bad dream. anglemark10 05-17-2007, 12:43 AM We forget that the whole episode is a dream by Chachi.
