View Full Version : The Freaky A$$ Tax Man-LOL
TVFactFan 04-26-2007, 08:01 PM I thought this was going to be an interesting episode because I was wondering how Alice was going to pay the IRS $2000 but all the time the guy just wanted to get his touch feel on-lol He starts taking his clothes off and starts chasing her around and all the time Alice never owed the IRS anything?-lol This was a ******** pointless episode
Ireneparalegal 04-26-2007, 09:31 PM Have you ever seen Alice before Sol? I am wondering, because you make it sound like you expected this episode to be exciting and were disappointed at the outcome.

Yes I was very disappointed with the outcome. I never expected him to be at her APT
Ireneparalegal 04-26-2007, 09:38 PM But have you ever watched ALICE before?

Ah, ok, that answers my question. Yeah, I can understand why your memory of the show is vague. I have seen ALICE so many times.
Alice should have known that tax people don't DO HOUSECALLS. How naive (stupid) was that? I would have had the cops there so damn fast, he wouldn't know what hit him. :D

Alice' statement reminded me of something I said to a bill collector over the phone years ago when they were telling me I owe $4000, and I said well it as might as well be $16,000 because I don't have that either-lol

What was she going to blackmail him with?
Sol, what did you owe $4000$$$ for?

I am curious myself.
Brian Damage 04-26-2007, 11:33 PM It was also ANOTHER episode with a man in his Boxers. lol

There was an early episode of Mary Tyler Moore (I think it was titled "1040 or fight") where Mary was getting audited, and I believe they were at her apartment (of course, the IRS guy was interested in Mary more than auditing her taxes)

And these guys were not good looking either! Show me a HOT MAN in his boxers. ;)
BTW, Alice could have easily called the IRS herself and found out what if anything, she owed the IRS. What IRS agent goes to a diner and someone's home?

Well, if Alice is stupid enough not to do her taxes, she is just as stupid to fall for what that tax guy did.

I guess Alice had belief that Don owed back taxes, since she did move from the east coast, she could have thought the IRS was not able to reach her there and finally found her in Phoenix. The IRS can find ANYONE THEY WANT. I know after my divorce, two years after the fact, I received a letter from the IRS stating my ex-husband owed $200 in back taxes. They weren't able to find him (duh!) so they decided to hound me for the money! I can easily see why Alice thought she owed $$$. Still, I would have called the IRS to find out exactly the situation, not just fall for some guy who came into a greasy diner to tell me this.
