Whatever show it replaced was another failure because the show that was Originally in the 9:30pm Time slot on Thursday Night was he Nancy Walker Show and that was cancelled on Dec 30, 1976. So I don't know what aired from Jan of 77 to Mar of 77 on ABC at 9:30pm

I always thought Three's Company aired on Tuesdays until I purchased the TV Book-"complete directory of Primetime shows"

Three's Company did move to Tuesday Night's at 8:00 pm Central Time on ABC
