I am just getting reaquainted with this show and forgot a lot about it. He mentions in, 'The Failure' that he has a pull out couch in there. So I was curious if he actually lived in there.

They did show his apt. at one point in the show I believe. Didn't the girls go to his apt. one time and found it a complete mess?

The first time they had his apartment on was near the end of the 2nd season "Mel's Recession", and yes, it was quite sloppy :) After that, it was shown pretty regularly. In fact, alot of the 1st episode of the 3rd season "Take Him, He's Yours" took place in his apartment (one of my favorite episodes)
