When the cast of ROOTS appeared on stage, John Amos showed the audience a black and white pic of him in school. He was the only black child in the class. I missed what he said shortly before showing that picture, so I don't know why he showed it. Did anyone catch what he said?

I'm not real clear on exactly what he said, but he said something about it reminding him of when he was a kid or something like that and then he told everyone to guess which one was him, LOL
