A remake is in the works with a female in the lead. And get this, Smallville star Tom Welling has been cast in a supporting role (romantic interest?). Canadian High Schools are being scouted for a 2007 shoot.

I'm really glad they're doing this because just the other day I was saying how badly Teen Wolf needed to be remade. Thank God for Hollywood - how they bless us with these inspired and wonderful remakes!!

You know, we are verging on having a generation of moviegoers raised on a steady diet of remakes, remakes, retreads and yes, remakes!! And let's not forget the occasional re-imagining!!!
