I'm bored. So I randomly decided to make a thread to post some of your favorite quotes, or even some of your own. Here are some I like :))000

Love is giving someone the ability to destroy you, but trusting them not to.--??

"The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it."
-W. M. Lewis

"The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself." -Benjamin Franklin

"Nobody really cares if you're miserable, so you might as well be happy." -Cynthia Nelms

"Enjoy life. There's plenty of time to be dead."
-Anon.

Life is a comedy for those who think... and a tragedy for those who feel.
-Horace Walpole, Letter to Sir Horace Mann, 1770

Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they're afraid of falling & getting hurt. Instead they just get the rotten apples that are on the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think that there is something wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing. That is why we just have to be a little patient & the right boy, the one who takes a chance to find the good, right apple, will come someday--??

and I really like this one for some reason:

Dr. Miller says we are pessimistic because life seems like a very bad, very screwed-up film. If you ask "What the hell is wrong with the projector?" and go up to the control room, you find it's empty. You are the projectionist, and you should have been up there all the time.
-Colin Wilson

And here are two of my own ehhhh.

Sometimes you just need to stick your tongue out at someone when you're in the car, and drive away or to laugh uncontrollably when you acidentally fall, get up, and do it again. When you take life too seriously, you'll never be able to look back one day and laugh at it.

What people fail to realize a lot of the time is that we're all human. We all bleed, we all cry, we all fart.

I celebrated Thanksgiving in an old-fashioned way. I invited everyone in my neighborhood to my house, we had an enormous feast, and then I killed them and took their land.
Jon Stewart

Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.
Maya Angelou

Music is the art which is most nigh to tears and memory.
Oscar Wilde

A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read.
Mark Twain

All right, then, I'll go to hell.

"Believe in something larger than yourself. In this day and age, everything is so ego-driven. This does not fill a soul. This does not create a better person. This does not contribute to building integrity. Find something you believe in and dedicate yourself to it." - Stephanie J. Block

"Eighty-percent of Republicans are Democrats that have no idea what's going on." - Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

"May you all feel the rush of not knowing what lyric comes next. May you all make huge mistakes in front of thousands of people and laugh hysterically after you step off stage. May you have to make up lines because your wig is caught in another actor's costume and neither one of you can seem to get free. I truly wish these moments for you. Live theatre...there's nothing like it!" - Stephanie J. Block

"If you're flammable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit. Unless you are a table." -- Mitch Hedberg

"To let a woman be a journalist is like to let a monkey fly a plane." - Sasha Baron Cohen
