your posts. In answer to Alegna, who asked if anything happens between
Gilligan and Maryann, you said, "nothing really obvious...you sort of just
assume that behind the scenes they showed more obvious signs of liking each
other more than just 'fellow Castaway'".... I would really be interested in
hearing more about just what you mean here and also about how you came

ahem.... so very , very sry it has taken so long to get back to u Im!

well... first... we need to lay down a couple of facts.

This is, afteral, Gillligan's Island... this being said... romance is not the main element... nor is it really even a secondary element on most normal people's minds when they 'just sit right back' to watch the show... they just want to have a good laugh
so... if u r watching GI in hopes of some romantic plot... good luck.... the only possible example (aside from episodes concerning the Howells) might be "Mrs. Erika Tiffany Smith to the Rescue" ... but, i'll talk about that later;)


here are all of the possible 'couples' (BTW... while all of you know I ship G/P and MAG all the way... I'm not saying anything against other shipers... think wut u want... i don't care)
the 2 most popular being
MaryAnn/Gilligan (more commenly known as MAG)
Ginger/Professor
then there is also a group of prominent MaryAnn/Professor shippers

then, the other possibilities
Ginger/Gilligan (i've come across several of these shippers)
Ginger/Skipper (i've only come across this like once or twice)
I guess u could ship MaryAnn/Skipper... but I've never seen this...


I'm a MAG and G/P shipper, and not without reasons...
most prominately being the fact that Sherwood Shwartz has said that if the series continued for a good amount of time, MaryAnn and Gilligan might get married and have kids, the same with Ginger and Roy....
so, anyone tempted to go against wut Sherwood Shwartz said?... lol...
