I don't know if this has been noticed and talked about yet....After my season 2 purchase of Happy Days (yes I still had to buy it) I immediatly went to my favorite season 2 episode..."Guess who's coming to Christmas" found on disc 2......I was astonished to see that the producer/writer type credits found after the opening on every episode were redone on the episode! You can notice they recreated the font used but it looks modern looking....after the horrible new/old song opening, the opening wide shot of the house in snow is totally cut, where the credits were normally seen, then the door with the wreath on it is shown in awkward silence, then the episode begins abruptly with joanie talking to howard at the kitchen table, all during this scene is where the new credits are shown over dialogue...I immediatly checked it against my TV Land version of the episode, a generic jingle bells is played on TV Land, so I'm not sure of any reason why this was cut? seems like they could have kept it the same and just put some generic christmas music over it, I don't think this happens in anyother episode on the set. I am starting another thread suggesting a hall of shame for dvd releases and this release should be entered immediatly!

Yeah, I mentioned this in the DVD Review thread (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=198537). That particular edit seems to make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

i am so pissed that paramount did a poor job on season 2 i am telling you, nobody ois going to buy season 2 especially with all of the scenes an music replace, we have been waiting a long time and this is what they give us, i bet they got a lot of letters with complaints todd they could spend billions of dolers on networks and not the music rights they hould have dealt with the miusic issues first again it makes no sense to see hd2 in the quailty that it is in, people want to see the show as it was on abc i will be shocked if season 2 does well but not to many people are going to buy it, we have to tell it like it is again paramount has to take a lot of blame for this because they do not commercial advertise there dvd's the brady bunch did well when they commerical advertised it s did andy graffith again there is no excuse i am not buying seaon 2 especailly of years of waiting its not worth

I wish you would use complete sentences, studd.

You can't say that nobody is going to buy Season 2 because a lot of people already have, including myself.

It's not that bad, in reality.
