Where do you get this information? Neither TV Shows on DVD or Amazon has this information. Please, everyone , state your SOURCE when you post DVD release dates...rumours are always rampant in things like this!

Well this is encouraging, found this on that www.cmongethappy.com/ site on their message board, it was the administrator of the site that has this inside info on page 18 of their message board there so that is more credible then just some poster, sounds like it is a go to me Larry Tate :) :

No problem.

I have seen the packaging, read the episode synopses, viewed the menu screens, packaging art for the slim cases, DVD disc art, etc. They are almost ready to go to press with the packaging as soon as some alterations are done on the box art. I was told the July 10 date was the "official date". That's a lot more than I can say for the PF release. Plus, this info came from someone else -- not the same person who claimed to know everything about PF Season 3. Also, a friend of mine went to a tribute to Bill Asher (and Sidney Sheldon posthumously) in Palm Springs this past weekend and spoke with Erin about the filming. I've had lunch with Erin a few times. She's incredibly sweet (and in the "Isn't that Ironic" category: her husband's name is Darrin. )

I don't think Alice Ghostley is doing too well. Certainly not well enough to participate in any DVD extras, unfortunately.

"Bewitched" and "I Dream of Jeannie" are both selling very well. In fact, they are also working on "I Dream of Jeannie -- the Complete Fourth Season," but I don't have any date for that one. I don't have any info on the final season of "The Flying Nun ( # 3 ) or "Hazel Season 2."

So -- um -- if it's any consolation, "Bewitched -- The Complete Fifth Season" comes out July 10. I'm pretty sure that date won't be pushed back. And, Tabitha (Erin Murphy) has been filming special material for a planned "Complete Series" boxed set that would be released after the final season's (# 8 ) release.

Looks like Esmeralda might be the next one to leave us like many other members from the Bewitched cast.

If I recall, isn't season 5 Dick York's final season?

Yup, and he failed to appear in the eps. for half of that season too.

Actually he missed 8 out of 30 episodes in season 5,
about 27% of them.

Yeah, OK. But it's still a lot of eps. he missed. And I didn't think there were that many eps. in season 5 which seemed kinda short to me.

From Seasons 1 to 8 there were the following number of Episodes:

36,38,33,33,30,30,28,26

In season 2 there were 2 extra episodes as ep. 14 & 15 from season One were
remade somewhat with new footage in the Opening Scenes.

I Loved the Non-Darrin Episodes, i thought they gave us more of Serena, Larry & Maurice & Uncle Arthur then we would have had otherwise in Season 5 & allowed us to see more of what Samantha's life was at home as a Housewife while Darrin was at the Office.

Despite the eight (!) episodes minus Dick York and recycling plots, Season 5 was so much fun to watch. I especially enjoyed "Samantha Goes South For A Spell", featuring a pre-Weezy Isabel Sanford. It's so great that all the DY episodes are on DVD now.
