While surfing the net I came across some information about a new original show TV Land will be airing. (Not TV Land's site) The show is called "The Grind." It will be a half hour series where stars will take on the real-life jobs of their characters. Harry Anderson is slated to be one of the celebrities in this series. (That should be hillarious...although I don't know which character persona he will take on? Judge Harry T. Stone or Dave Barry? Hummm. Anyway, I checked out TV Land's site to see when this will probably debut and it looks like November. If I hear or see anything more, I'll pass it along.

In other news, TV Land has the rights to "Night Court" until 2010, so hopefully it will start airing it again in a good time slot.

2010! I hate when networks buy the rigths to shows and then don't air them. Why bother buying them for so long if you don't intend on using them?!

Hopefully they will start airing it again soon.

Here is the synopsis of Harry's episode and the day and time when it will air as posted on this site. This sounds hilarious!

JIMMIE WALKER & HARRY ANDERSON

August 8, 2007, 10:30 p.m.

Like his character "JJ" on Good Times, Jimmie Walker tries his hand as a painter and takes real art classes -- painting nude models -- eventually displaying his self-portrait at an art gallery showing. He's in for a surprise when a special guest star shows up to buy his "artwork." Then, Night Court's Harry Anderson punches in at a New Orleans courthouse for a day -- attempting to learn what it takes to really be a judge. Only Harry Anderson would somehow manage to officiate a real life wedding during his tenure as a judge.

How Long has Night Court been on Hiatus from TV Land schedule

A year ago. I remember they stopped showing it around August 06, banishing it to 9am on Sunday for a while before dropping it. I wish that ION would take it off of TV Land's hands. They seem to give old shows a good home. :)

It was surprising to see that he still worked there, because I thought I had read that he left there completely and had closed up shop.

According to an article I read online, Harry has sold all of his properties in New Orleans, which is unfortunate since he invested so much in his shop.
