On wikipedia it says she was on the show from season 3-9 and then season 11 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Days right hand side where it has the cast names and on her wikipedia pages she is listed as having been in 40 episode but on imdb she is listed as being in 47 episodes...
Is any of that true? First of all wasnt she in the series premier and secondly out of 255 episodes, 40 or 47 episodes sounds abit too low...

At IMDb, the number of episodes for a cast member will rise once the information is gathered -- in other words, they need people to verify whether she appeared in certain episodes. That info is compiled through ongoing submissions.

She is credited as a star from seasons 3-9 and 11. She appeared in almost every, if not every episode during the first and second seasons but was listed in the closing credits. She was a guest star for six episodes during the tenth season. In other words, she was in almost every episode of the series except for the 16 episodes in season 10 and a handful of others here and there.

Joanie really played a very small role in the show the first couple of seasons. Once Chuck and a few other characters were phased out, Joanie became more prominent.

That's right. As much as I love to read wikipedia, you have to take everything it says with a grain of salt.
