I know that was a huge goof on her part, but I love that "Whoops!" she did when the audience threw her off a bit and they were cheering for Cousin Geri.

You know, the episode where we first see Geri for the first time. Remember the scene where the audience was cheering Geri onward and Charlotte Rae was a bit at a loss with the scene itself that she said "Whooops!" You have to see it yourself. I actually thought it was part of the scene, but it was a goof, but a funny one.

i didnt think that was a goof, and it's called cousin geri... that is a 2nd season episode and therefore you should have the dvds to recall the name ;) anyways, i will have to rewatch the ep on my dvds and see what it's about :)

But she did say "Whoooops!"

The "Whoops!" was in the script. Mrs. Garrett mistakenly infers muscular dystrophy instead of Geri's cerebral palsy by saying she watches the telethon for Geri's disease on TV every year, and Geri says, "That's muscular dystrophy...I have cerebral palsy". And then the character Mrs. Garrett, not the actress in a goof, says "Whoops!" in an embarrassed way since she mixed them up. :)

Sorry about that. Thanks for clearing it up. Just thought it was kind of cute when she said, "Whooops!", that's all.
