View Full Version : Airing Weekdays on TV Land Starting April 30, 2007! Pavan 04-16-2007, 06:35 PM Weekdays at 7am ET/PT: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showpost.php?p=3522131&postcount=10 TVFactFan 04-16-2007, 06:49 PM Weekdays at 7am ET/PT: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showpost.php?p=3522131&postcount=10 Stupid Time Slot, and I found it interesting they suddenly add the show to their lineup since season 1 is coming out on DVD Pavan 04-16-2007, 07:50 PM True, but the DVD is June 12. Robert 13 04-17-2007, 09:58 AM They are only airing the 12 episodes they have already aired??? That's strange. So when TV Land airs a specific show, they acquire rights for each episode to air?? We're going to be getting more than that on the Season 1 dvd set. I wonder if they are doing this as a way to promote the dvd or if they plan to air the entire series somewhere down the line. Pavan 04-17-2007, 10:19 AM No, they have rights to them all. They are just testing this. If it does well, they will go out and take out the masters of the rest. Robert 13 04-17-2007, 11:47 AM Thanks Pav! That's good to know. I'd love to see the rest of the series, especially "Cabin Fever"!!! :) Brian Damage 04-17-2007, 12:37 PM I think that is good news! Scoobiedoo30 04-17-2007, 01:40 PM I am so very glad that What's Happening is Returning from Hiatus GSU2004 04-20-2007, 06:41 PM Only 12 episodes of the series, I would think TVLand would stop teasing us and air the entire series. I'll tune in for ratings purposes but once I buy the DVD, screw TVLand. 7am is really a bad slot for the show anyway. I would think they would have tried it in primetime where more people can watch it. Robert 13 04-23-2007, 10:21 AM I wonder if they will, in fact, decide to air more episodes than they have already shown. By the way, amazon.com now has the final coverart posted. It's a bit clearer than the previous version but it remains the same in design. :) GSU2004 05-02-2007, 01:08 PM I have been TiVoin the episodes. Has anybody else been watching the show on TVLand? Scoobiedoo30 05-02-2007, 01:42 PM it is so good to see TV Land airing What's Happening Now GSU2004 05-02-2007, 01:50 PM it is so good to see TV Land airing What's Happening Now Even better when the DVD hits the stores!! Scoobiedoo30 05-08-2007, 01:15 AM How is What Happening Now doing in the ratings Pavan 05-09-2007, 01:05 AM New episodes never before aired on TV Land start on Tuesday, May 29! Episodes for that week at 7am: #2, #3, #5 and #6. TVL has showed only 12 episodes over and over previously: #1, #4, #12, #22, #23, #26, #35, #38, #44, #45, #60, #66. It looks like we might get all the ones besides those 12! GSU2004 05-09-2007, 01:08 PM New episodes never before aired on TV Land start on Tuesday, May 29! Thst's Good News but I still can't see it because of the horrible time slot, 7am Pavan 05-09-2007, 06:59 PM Record it and watch it later. I am going to do that. TVFactFan 05-09-2007, 07:09 PM Record it and watch it later. I am going to do that. I can't do it because the TV i have cable on is the TV i watch N@N on every night. So that would mean I would have to fall asleep to TV LAND and there is nothing on TV Land to watch after 1am. So it's no way for me to record it. Now if it came on at 8am, then I would be cool Scoobiedoo30 05-09-2007, 07:24 PM I am going to recored it and watch it in another Time Period Pavan 05-10-2007, 11:44 PM TV Land has added classic clips of WHN!! on their webpage: http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid187784359/bclid878762824 Pavan 05-11-2007, 12:05 AM OK, here are the episodes for all of June: Week of Tuesday, May 29: #2, 3, 5, and 6 Week of Monday, June 4: #7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 Week of Monday, June 11: #13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 Week of Monday, June 18: #18, 19, 20, 21, and 2 Week of Monday, June 25: #1, 4, 12, 22, 23 So all of S1 will air on TV Land! Now let's hope in July we see seasons two and three and not just the episodes they have already aired. Scoobiedoo30 05-11-2007, 01:10 PM thanks my Friend Pavan 06-19-2007, 11:59 AM TV Land webpage is now up: http://www.tvland.com/shows/whatshappeningnow/ Scoobiedoo30 06-19-2007, 02:26 PM thanks for the news Robert 13 06-20-2007, 10:29 AM They have only listed Season 1 plus selected episodes from 2 and 3 under the episode guide. Does this mean they will not be airing Season 2 and 3 in full? Pavan 06-20-2007, 10:47 AM They only have plans to air those episodes only. Robert 13 06-20-2007, 01:37 PM Thanks Pav! I was hoping to see the "Cabin Fever" episode. I guess I'll have to wait for Season 2 to come out. Do we know if sales for Season 1 have been good so far? I hope it sold really well. Pavan 06-20-2007, 02:17 PM Looking at Amazon's ranking, it doesn't look good. TVFactFan 06-20-2007, 06:12 PM Looking at Amazon's ranking, it doesn't look good. Well what are the rankings???? Scoobiedoo30 06-20-2007, 06:42 PM what do you mean ranking do yall mean ratings mlingerfelt 06-20-2007, 08:42 PM are you talking about customer reviews. Pavan 06-20-2007, 09:51 PM are you talking about customer reviews. No, there is a sales ranking. At last I checked yesterday, WHN was #9,000 something. Compare that to recent releases: Silver Spoons was #400 something and Perry Mason was like #38. mlingerfelt 06-20-2007, 10:14 PM thanks Pavan . Compare that to recent releases: Silver Spoons was #400 something and Perry Mason was like #38. Hopefully, the sales in stores are doing much better than Amazon but that has me worried about the future of season two. Why didn't Sony promote the WHN DVD like Urban Works did with Cosby and ADW? Promotion and marketing always can help out Robert 13 06-21-2007, 03:22 PM I was afraid of this. They didn't seem to advertise at all. And big chain stores like Target didn't carry it. But I'm not sure what stores in your local areas at had it. My Best Buy only had 2 copies on the day of release. And it was in the regular TV-dvd section. It was not featured as a new release. It seems they almost made it an inevitable flop in sales. GSU2004 06-21-2007, 07:40 PM I was afraid of this. They didn't seem to advertise at all. Normally, Wal-Mart will place DVD ads on the sensor dectors in front of the stores. All the WHN need to step up and buy this DVD so we can get all the seasons and Sony needs to advertise it. This show was good and people are sleeping on it. mlingerfelt 06-21-2007, 10:53 PM AMEN I ordered through FYE when went to pick it up. it was in the top 20 new releases no.12 mlingerfelt 06-21-2007, 10:57 PM also this show was as good as original. step up people so we can get season 2 soon. I am ready for Cabin Fever also the Christmas episode. Ireneparalegal 06-21-2007, 11:00 PM How the hell did I miss this thread???? I didn't know WHN was on TvLand. Robert 13 06-22-2007, 12:15 PM I would love to have the Christmas episode as well. :) DJM77 10-12-2011, 10:52 AM How did I miss this thread???? I didn't know WHN was on TvLand. I didn't either. And I didn't know 227 was on TV Land. TVFactFan 10-27-2011, 06:18 PM I didn't either. And I didn't know 227 was on TV Land. Maybe because this thread is from 2007??? Just a guess DJM77 12-18-2011, 02:54 PM Maybe because this thread is from 2007??? Just a guess Right. I don't think I was on the boards too much when 227 and What's Happening Now!! were on TV Land. And both shows were on at times when I wasn't at home. If TV Land would have promoted them any then I would've at least known about it and I could've taped some episodes. |
