NBC Universal has announced that Saved By The Bell will be available to local stations in syndication in Fall 2007...I guess it's amazing success on TBS and the lack of tween sitcoms in late afternoons made them realize that the show good garner some ratings gold! Very interesting news indeed!

I read it in today's Broadcasting & Cable or Electronic Media, I can't remember which one since I read so many of the trades, if I post something like that in the future I will attribute it to the publication.

That's my guess too. When I was little, I remember it used to come on weekdays at 5pm, for years.

Saved by the Bell has been part of my routine for the last 6 years, I've seen every episode at least 50 times but I still watch at least 1 episode on TBS a day before I head off to school.

Going to syndication would turn a whole new generation on to this great show. Right now I get it on TBS and also at 11 AM Pacific time on Q13 FOX Seattle

I don't know if stores even keep it on the shelves anymore. I can't stand Tori, either. I'll hopefully get it eventually.

If its on the CW, that's great. I'd love to see it back on Saturday mornings on NBC, but with Qubo, it'd be shoved to 6:00 AM or something.

That really sucks. 1 episode a week??? I have all the DVD's, and I do watch it on TBS every now and then, but come on. Why bother airing a long running show only once a week? It doesn't make sense.

The reason Saved by the Bell is only airing once a week is because it's being used as a E/I show to full-fill local station requirements of running 3 hours of E/I programming a week. CW 20 in Hartford is running it at 7AM on Sundays.
