so they picked the new Danny and Sandy for the Grease broadway, if they ever made a remake who would be the cast, of course who would play Sandy And Danny then the others. I hope sometimes they will sow the play on tv. I hope Britney Spears will never play the role of Sandy.

This is one movie that they shouldn't mess with, I don't want this one to be remade they'd screw it up for sure.
Well the original movie wasn't exactly faithful to the Broadway play to begin with (they never really are). If they were going to try and be more like the show (with half the songs that were cut being put back in) it might not be a bad idea. I see it going for a tv movie though, like "Annie" and "The Music Man."
I don't see Britney Spears ever being cast as Sandy. She's kind of blowing her own career now. She's also getting too old/high maintenance for the highschool cheerleader. Kristin Chenowith would be a great choice, although she's getting too old for the part too. They'd probably cast someone more like Hillary Duff  I think I'd prefer to cast unknowns in the two leads, and get some real Broadway stars in the other roles.

Remaking Grease would be like remaking The Wizard of Oz. You just don't do it...ever.

I can't wait for someone to actually make a faithful version of The Wizard of Oz. As nobody's read the book nowadays, it looks as though the story's going to be completely lost by people who just watch the movie.
I love Judy Garland as much as anyone, but that movie can be improved upon, if they follow the book. Grease is a good movie too, but they can remake it by following the original source material. Both of these would be different enough from the originals that they'd be worthwhile.

I've actually read the book, but I just don't want them to remake it. agree to disagree though.
