How come DVD on TV is not Closed Captioned

How come DVD on TV is not Closed Captioned

Well, to be honest with you, the only one of my television discs that isn't CC is "Hardcastle and McCormick," which will arrive soon. All of my others have captions/subtitles in one form or another. I do not know why some television DVD's aren't CC.

A majority of them have closed-captioning, not saying all. It depends on the type of television you have that will provide CC capability. Universal, strangely, does not have closed-captioning on its TV DVD's (or movies) but does provide English subtitles and other languages.

For example, if I watch The Munsters which I have on DVD, I'll watch an episode and turn on the subtitles feature to English to see the dialogue on screen.

Maybe Universal Home Video, either does not have the funds to spend on closed-captioning equipment or won't spend any money in that area or some obvious reason.

Most of my DVDs are closed captioned.I can only think of 3 that arent't Flavor Of Love seasons 1 and 2.

I am in the middle of Dukes of Hazzard season 3 no Closed Captioned
