She will be on Rachel Ray on April 17. Check local listings for time and channel.

The DVD was talked about on Larry King:

KING: By the way, the complete first season of the Emmy-winning sitcom series "One Day at a Time" is coming out on DVD on April 24 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

BERTINELLI: It's about time.

KING: There it is, the cover. Yes, it is about time.

I was curious as to what Emmys the show would have won, so I checked at Emmys.org

For everyone's information:

Alan Rafkin won for Oustanding Directing in a Comedy Series in 1982.

Pat Harrington won for Best Supporting Actor in 1984.

And Bonnie Franklin won for Best Lead Actress in 1982.

Hate to quibble, but it was actually Carol Kane (Taxi) who won the 1982 Best Lead Actress Emmy. Other nominees were: Isabel Sanford (Jeffersons), Charlotte Rae (FOL), Nell Carter (Gimme A Break), Swoosie Kurtz (Love, Sidney) and of course, Bonnie Franklin.

Thanks for the correction, catlover! I looked back at the emmys.org page I checked, and this time I noticed that only Harrington and Rafkin had the Emmy Icon next to their names (indicating an Emmy win)... I see now that Bonnie Franklin has no such icon next to her name, indicating that she was nominated but did not win.

Good catch!
