I don't understand how they got a spinooff because as I remember sherwood shwartz said that the brady bunch didn't get high ratings in its first run and usually a network like ABC wouldn't spinoff a show with low ratings, the brady bunch didn't get super popular until syndication, of course now its a super hit and soon after it was canceled, ABC started to air one of its biggest hit sitcoms of all time, can anyone guess what it was?

You can't be talking about Happy Days, since it first aired 1/15/1974 which was about six months before Brady Bunch was canceled.
