I got the complete Sanford in a trade recently and I was suprised to hear Esther mentioned that Woody died in the series. I know earlier you mentioned you didn't know if he was still living in real life. If he was living at the time I wonder why he didn't want to do the series or for that mater if he was even asked.

I don't think it is the same Raymond Allen.

Wikipedia has it as two different people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raymond_Allen

The IMDB doesn't have a year of death either

I think the links are just for the second Raymond Allen listed and not the first.

That is another reason why I think it isn't the same person.

Well if that's the case then It's not him. Plus would he have been that old? To be 72 in 1994 means it would have been almost 90 in 2007 at the 85-lol So no that is not him.

If he was in his 50's in the 70's I would think so. He sure wasn't in his 30's

When the Ned the Wino character was cleaned up in 1974 on Good Times, that man was not 52 years old.

How would you know how old he was? Do you know what year he was born? By looking at lot of people you can't tell how old they are.

Because CBS made John amos and Sherman Hemsley look older and NBC made Whitman Mayo and Redd Foxx look older. Sherman was under 40, John was under 40, Redd and Whitman was under 50. That's how I know

Raymond Allen was probably in his 40's or even 50's when Good Times aired.

If you see him in Wattstax and he's without the makeup, he looks like he's in his late 40's early 50's

It's a documentary, you probably wouldn't like it since it's mostly 70's groups singing and some 70's black actors talking, and since I LOVE 70‘s music, I LOVE the Documentary. But Richard Pryor had me rolling. It aired on PBS like 3 years back that's how I saw it, and then I ordered it online. You can go to Amazon and see a clip.

But to answer your question you can find it online. And it's in LA, happened a few years ofter the riots
