Lots of people have preordered their Mill Creek "Ozzie and Harriet Classics" collections from Amazon over at the HTF. And many have commented on what they have instead received.

"Ozzie and Harriet Classics" was supposed to have 38 PD episodes on it. The set that many have instead received is called “The Essential Ozzie & Harriet Collection.” It contains 100 episodes of the iconic 50's hit series... a record for OZZIE AND HARRIET in any media form as far as I know. And, probably too, the most number of episodes of any singular show to ever hit the market (in one release). I originally reported that the 38-episode set was a "monster" release. If this is the case, then this set is a "King Kong" release. It's a twelve-disc set and you can get it for only 13 bucks over at Amazon under the original set's page ("Ozzie and Harriet Classics"). It's PD quality says the people who have already received the set, but for 13 bucks, I'd say this is the perfect companion to the pristine (in both quality and quantity) Shout! Factory showcased set that streets the first of this May. Very interesting set, indeed.

This has to be a mistake that Amazon.com has made. They will probably correct it soon. But I am not going to complain. 100 episodes is better than 38. Is this set made by Mill Creek?

If anybody gets this giant set, please post a list of the episodes on this set.

It is a mistake and is a complete mystery. Try searching for the set ANYWHERE on the web and see what I mean. It is from Mill Creek according to the numerous HTF reports, however.

Yesterday I rec'd my set of these from DeepDiscount.com, and it's 100 episodes. I've only looked at disc one so far, and IMO the quality is good. The episodes vary in length--some are 28 minutes long with the original commercials, some are 25 minutes long, and some are 22 minutes long meaning some content has been cut. I am really looking forward to watching the rest.

Could you possibly post the episodes on the DVD? I know, it would be a long process, maybe a few at a time? I sure wish I had gotten that set.

Here, I took the easy way out and I scanned the back of the box which has an episode list :) :

There is no info listed on this at DeepDiscount.com, not even a picture of the package, so I ordered it blind, hoping it was the Mill Creek set. And it was, and even luckier, it was the 100 set everyone's talking about.

It looks like they reduced the price even further to $6.58. http://search.deepdiscount.com/search?w=DTO050561&af=&x=10&y=6
I am 90% sure this is the set I got although the price is lower. Hard to tell for sure due to the lack of info as you can see if you go there.

I just ordered it @ $6.58 and free shipping! It is back ordered until May 2, but that's fine. I sure hope I get the 100 episodes, but if not, not too much money lost if it's not. I have about 200 epidodes on various discs, but there are some here I don't have. Thank you so much for posting the episode list and for the information!!

It's sure worth taking a chance on at that price. Heck, I was excited to hear about it being 38 episodes initially! 100 is even better. Even though I already have many of the episodes on this set, the few discs that I have watched, have different versions of episodes I already have. Like The Orchid and the Violet episode has a beginning part all about Spring and shows people boating, and playing, and then Ozzie and the boys playing ball in the yard that's not on the one I already have. IIRC, the version I already had, started with Ozzie coming in the kitchen with his muddy clothes.

Yea, I noticed that too. I got the 38 episodes when it came out and I just started watching the ones I already had. I like the commercials too. They were showing a few episodes for about 3 years on PAX and I have all of them, maybe 20 episodes, but they cut out so much of the shows. I've been collecting shows for years, some from when Disney channel showed them. I'm really looking forward to the set coming May first with the family remarks and Ricky singing more.

Hello, newbie here. I only found this site over the weekend. From what I read here, I ordered the Mill Creek "Ozzie and Harriet Classics" collection from Amazon on Sunday. It arrived today. What I got was the 38-episode box. Was hoping to get the 100 shows. So I assume Amazon has corrected the mistake. But this is still odd as we now know that Mill Creek did create a 100 episode box that duplicates the first 38 episodes from the box advertised. Is Mill Creek going to be offering another box set or two with the remaining 62 episodes?

I have watched the first two episodes and the quality is good, not great. Still, I am enjoying watching the episodes. It has been at least 20 years since I last saw any Ozzie and Harriet episode.

I just ordered the set from the DeepDiscount.com page octobereve posted. It listed the UPC code in the cover scan octobereve posted too. Whatever set it is, 38 or 100 episodes, i'm happy. 80% of the episodes on both sets are ones I don't have.

When I ordered it they said it was back ordered until May, Well, yesterday I got an email and they shipped it yesterday! I will let you know if I get the 100 episodes. The quality of the 38 episodes is good considering how old the shows are. I wish they would release more of the shows, there's at least 200 probably that still are out there somewhere.

Where can I find the 100 episode mill creek set?....I can't find this anywhere online.....I am comparing the upc number listed on the back cover art listed on this thread.....I even went to the mill creek website and they only list the 38 episode 4 disc set! I already have the 38 episode set as I pre-ordered it from amazon before we even knew the 100 episode set existed, but I would rather have the 100 episode set even though all 38 episodes are on the 100 episode set. HELP!

When I went to Deepdiscount to order the set, they listed the UPC number thats on the cover scan in this thread. I just went to Deepdiscount today, and now they show the UPC number & title of the 38 episode set. I looked for the 100 episode set on every site I know of, they don't have it.

Anybody that got the 100 episode set is very lucky.

But Deepdiscount's price for the 38 episode set is the cheapest. Its part of a sale of up to 56% off Digital One Stop (Mill Creek) DVDs. Sale ends 5/4/2008.

I ordered this from DeepDiscount the same night this was posted. I got the 38 episode classic 4 DVD set delivered today. It still is a good deal even though it's not the 100 episode set.

I just ordered mine. I'm hoping its the larger set.

Btw, does anyone have the episode called "The Wedding Photo"?

I also have found a new site that has many episodes that are not in the main stream. I just have to sift through my notes:confused:

I went to hometheaterforum.com and somebody posted in a thread why some people got the 100 episode set at deepdiscount.com, plus when and where you can get the 100 episode set. Posts #38 & #39.

I wish I had waited a bit. Now I know QVC is going to carry the 100 episode on 4-28. I guess I'll order that one too.

Well, I got mine today and it was the 38 episodes. I already had it, now I have 2. Qvc had the show on at 2 am today, either they sold out or didn't have it, it's not available there either. Maybe they will have it later. I hope if anyone finds it anywhere, they post it here.

Hopefully they will release for real the 100-episode set. Some of us got it, so it exists. It has to come out on the market, and when it does, I wonder what the price will be?
