Tonight I was watching the show Mama's Family. I really like that show a lot! It's one of my favorites. Tonight was the episode where Thelma (Vicki) is all jealous and upset because her wacky neighbor Iola Boyland is spending time with her new friend Arlene. In the end, Thelma learned that Arlene was actually sick of spending time with Iola, so Thelma made up some convoluted story to keep Iola's feelings from getting hurt. LOL! It was a great one.

I also think Vicki Lawrence sang the song "Lights Went Out in Georgia" really well. She's just awesome.....a super lady!

Anyhow, there are so many good shows on that channel. The show "Alice" started, but I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet. I can't wait to see Mel (Vic) and the gang from Mel's Diner again. That show brings back some great '70s memories for me. I think that show is supposed to be in Arizona. I've gone to Arizona a lot in the past. That's another reason that "Alice" causes me to remember the good times! :) :cool: :D :)

Anyhow, I want to get Mama's Family on DVD to add to my collection. I'm not sure if I like the older seasons better with Unis, Aunt Fran, Buzz (Vint's son) and his daughter. I don't remember her name, and whoever Betty White played...I think she was Thelma's daughter. I just forget her name right now. :lol: :cool: :happyface
