On Bewitched, Sam and Darrin were trapped in the garage during an argument. She refused to use her magic to open the garage door ("Open the Door, Witchcraft" from Season 1).

Larry and Balki were trapped several times on Perfect Strangers.

Don't forget the episodes of Benson and Saved by the Bell, where expectant mothers gave birth while trapped in elevators. :eek:

-On three's company Jack and Mr. Furley were trapped in a freezer.
-The same kind of thing on All in the family with archie & michael.

-On charles in charge charles, buddy,and Gwendolyn were all trapped along with Lilia's friends in the house with no heat in winter.

on TAXI once, Alex, Bobby, Tony and I think Latka were trapped in a cabin during the winter with no food and no heat.

On I LOVE LUCY once, Lucy got locked in a giant meat freezer and almost froze to death. (which is one of her "predicaments" that I don't consider funny)

Happy Days-Fonzie, Potsie, and Ralph get trapped in the bathroom at Arnolds during a fire.

Gilligan's Island- well, they get traped on an island...:lol: But like Ginger and Gilligan fall into a deep pit and can't get out, then the Skipper falls into the same pit while trying to rescue them. Gilligan and Skipper fall into another hole in the ground... some other moments there were as well...:lol: :D

Dukes of Hazzard- Boss and Uncle Jesse get traped in a bank vault thing ma bob and almost run out of air...

I guess this will qualify. Laura Petrie got her toe stuck in the bathtub faucet.:D

On The Brady Bunch, Greg & Bobby were trapped in Sam's meat locker. Also, the family was trapped in a jail cell by the Jim Backus character while they were vacationing in another episode.

On The Andy Griffith Show, Andy & Helen were trapped briefly in a cave, but found their way out -- only to return so that Barney's rescue could have the desired outcome.

On The Lucy Show, Lucy and Viv were trapped at least twice: Once in the shower as it filled with water, and once glued to the basement walls (with a coal delivery as well!).

On Desperate Housewives Orson's first wife was trapped in the attic of her house.

There's also a Bob Newhart Show ep that takes place on the Fourth of July. Everyone dresses up as Uncle Sam and they get trapped in a basement. :lol:

Friends - Dont know if this counts: Joey and Ross were trapped on the ledge and had to climb down each other to get off it.....Ross had a car that was trapped between two other cars and his car was trapped.

Friends - Chandler was stuck in an ATM/Bank during a power outage with some celebrity.

caroline in the city- when richard was stuck in a vent when he tried to rescue salty the cat for caroline, and caroline found salty standing a few inches away from her in the season 4 episode, caroline and first date

Full House: Jesse and Kimmy became trapped in the Smash Club's supply closet on the night of it's grand re-opening; Jesse, Stephanie, and Michelle get trapped in a auto repair garage due to being in the restroom when the owner locked up to go to lunch.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Zelda, Hilda, and anyone who came by became trapped in Zelda's genie bottle after Hilda breaks the switch; Sabrina becomes trapped in a toy chest along with other things made into toys by her cousin, Amanda

Friends: Joey gets trapped in the wall unit he made after telling a potential buyer that he could get himself inside it and the guy locks him and steals all their stuff; Phoebe, Ross, and Susan get stuck in one of the hospital's closets during the birth of Ross's son and then to get out Phoebe crawls through the air vent, but gets stuck.

Family Matters: Steve and Carl become trapped with Mr. Looney (it's French) in the high school's boiler room (actually I'm not sure what room it is just that it's in the basement) that Mr. Looney is living in; Steve shrinks Carl and himself and they get stuck on the kitchen counter while the rest of the family is away, Waldo comes over but gets scared thinking he became a giant.

On The Golden Girls, the girls get trapped on an island they think is deserted and in the middle of nowhere in the season two episode when they go on vacation at a sleazy resort.

On Family Matters, in addition to the ones said, Steve and Carl get trapped on a boxcar filled with cattle I believe. They also get stuck on a train at Christmas Eve in 1993. Also this may not fall under "trapped", but in season eight, Steve's time machine almost landed Steve and Carl in other time periods forever. They were trapped for a while in 1976 when they travel back in time to when the Winslows first bought their house. Steve's time machine ran out of batteries and they couldn't get back. Also, they get trapped on the pirate ship after the time machine is broken somehow. Myra has one of her own luckily, and they are saved.

Yeah, that is classic. I think a few shows used that "trapped-in-the-freezer" scene. Besides Benson, I can think of Three's Company and All In The Family (well, was that a freezer or just a stock room that Archie and Meathead got trapped in?)

Another episode of Gomer Pyle had Sgt. Carter getting caught in one of Gomer's traps when they were on a field excerise. He ended up hanging upside down from a tree.

And remember the "Green Acres" episode(one of the latter episodes)called "Trapped"?In that one,Oliver and Lisa get trapped under the house,and it is Arnold the pig ,Mr.Haney,Sam Drucker and EB come to the rescue,(at first Eb hits his head,and it is Arnold the pig who has to convince a skeptical Sam Drucker and Mr.Haney(Mr.Haney is very skeptical and a bit irritated at Arnold,thinking he's wasting their time )come to their rescue.

Theres one on I Dream Of Jeannie where she gets trapped in a safe.

There is a great episode of The Facts of Life called "Concentration" where Blair and her baby sister Bailey are trapped in an elevator with a man who was help in a German concentration camp during the second world war. While waiting for the elevator to begin running again, the man tells his story to Blair. A very beautiful and touching episode.

In a fifth season episode of Star Trek-The Next Generation called "Disater", Captain Picard (who is very uncomfortable around children) becomes trapped in a turbolift with three grade school aged kids. Also, Worf and Keiko O'Brien are trapped in the Ten-Forwrd lounge where Worf has to help deliver Keiko's baby.

In the second season All in The Family epiosde "The Elevator Story", Archie becomes trapped in a elevator with a several other people including a young woman who is about to have a baby.

I was watching Roseanne today and she gets trapped in the stove-hood vent of a competitors diner. It was pretty funny.
