Jenny,
Welcome to THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER MESSAGE DISCUSSION BOARD FORUM. You know me for a while now. I think you are an asset anywhere you are.
Okay, I think every series, movie, sitcom and etc. that airs on any commercial network, station or channel will definitely get chop up into tiny little pieces. It is terrible -- but it is a fact.
I watched THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER in the early-seventies and I feel very lucky to have been born during the very early-seventies because they created wonderful and interesting series, movies, sitcoms and etc. in that decade and in the sixties. And, THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER wasn't as butched as it is today.
I bet, you haven't seen or heard of THE GHOST AND MRS. MUIR, HAZEL, and some others. These classics (including THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER) were very interesting and fun to watch. They didn't have any sexual situations, profanity or violence in them. But, today that is all you get.
