If you are single - what are the best places are the best to encounter other singles to mingle around? I am not talking about geography-wise. I am talking about hangout locations in a general city/place?

Yes, I am still trying to figure this out because I am dumb-founded and lost. I can't seem to actually meet anyone. I often read about people here saying they have a date and everything, but what locations were these? It's funny because I work with a lot of clients (students), but yet no one will approach me! :( I am going mad!!

P.S. Please, I don't want to hear, "You are a good person" or "You will find someone" or anyone agreeing with me that they feel the same way like I do. That is NOT what I am asking or needing. I am asking for actual advice, suggestions AND tips. Thank you. Sorry to sound cranky, but I am feeling frustrated.

I agree that online dating is a pretty good option.

My buddy Joe met his wife through Yahoo Personals.

I know a lot of people will tell you that you cannot meet a special someone by hanging out in bars, but your old buddy TJL is proof positive that stranger things have happened.

A few months ago i met a really nice girl who come into the Gaf with her work friends a couple of times a week.

We've been out a few times, and I have a pretty good feeling she likes me as much as I'm digging her.

So loitering in bars does pay off sooner or later.
