Now, would you say Don Imus' radio career is over? Moral to this story, watch what you say, especially on the air, because if you don't, the consequences can be dire. Don Imus can apologize all he wants, but this time, being sorry isn't enough. All the damage he caused because of his insensitive remarks are pretty much self-explanatory. C. Vivian Stringer deserves an explanation for Imus' inexcusable on-air behavior, but it's not only going to be her call on whether or not to accept Imus' apologies, but also the rest of Rutgers University. Alas, now we know Imus' behavior isn't going unpunished. |
