My mom never made me ham sandwiches as a kid, because she knew that if she did, the trash is where they'd eventually end up. LOL!!

I always hated it when my mother made ham for a holiday or just a family dinner. I loved her turkey and roast beef dinners. I used to bitch so much beforehand that my mother would cook a roast too. My mother was so great, putting up with me...wasn't always easy, lol.

At the deli, we get Boar's Head rosemary ham. Put that on a seeded roll with Swiss cheese and mustard, and it's a delicious sandwich.

I love ham, I just can't stand Hot Dogs and Bologna, if you want me to throw up those are the two meats to give me.

I love ham, but my sister doesn't. I don't like hot dogs either. I like it cold best, so I can put it in sandwiches.

Have you ever tried smoked country-fried ham on a homemade buscuit? Its
very good, a totally different taste from lunch meat ham you get at krogers.

Some of those cooked holiday hams, I'm not that crazy about either, but there's nothing like a nice, thin-sliced deli ham on fresh Italian or French bread. Sometimes it just 'hits the spot' for me.

I had a bad experience with ham when I was a kid. I tasted a peice that had a bad texture to it. But I got over it. I can take ham or leave it.

I like my ham on sandwitches. :)

No way and that's an indirect slam on mothers, I'd say. My parents bought the best ham going at the meat market. My mother made a sauce with pineapple, cherries or whatever. My mother never served us bad ham. I just hate it. I know a lot of people who hate it. All my kids and my wife, for starters. Leave it to you to make fun of people for having an opinion different than you.

Geez, you can't just leave a joke alone can you? Like I am really implying that your mother made bad ham. It's not a bad thing to post my opinion, so stop chastising me at every opportunity you get. Is it your daily routine to slam everything I post? I don't go following you around on the board and mock you or slam you, so why do you feel the need to make this a habit of yours?

Get a grip Irene. I'm not following you around, read my posts today and you'll see that. You sound paranoid. Posting on the same thread as you is not following you around. You can dish it out but you can't take it. You post that on the back smilie that you love so much and laugh at everyone that hates ham and tell them a couple of times that they had bad ham. Your problem is that you like to make your little digs and when someone calls you out, you play innocent. Nobody likes to be laughed at. Tell you what, I'll start laughing at you and see how you like it.

OMG... I CANNOT stand straight-up pork. That means ABSOLUTELY NO HAM for me. Naaaaaaaaaaaasty.

(I cannot stand seafood either, but that's another story. Just ask Tara... She can vouch for the fact that I CANNOT stand seafood. Shrimp. *shiver*)

Back when I ate pork, I did like honey baked ham (in cold cut and fresh form). But now that I haven't had it in awhile, I don't really crave it as much as I used to.

I like ham. I'd eat it off the floor...which reminds me. I had a dream a few nights ago that there was a giant cooked pig corpse just sitting there on the floor at my cousin's house. Its head was even still intact. Everybody was eating ham.

Suddenly..ham isn't sounding so good.

HAM IS AWESOME. Maybe not at Dutabi's house.... O_o

Non-cured pork though, not a fan. Not too into pork chops.

My soon to be sister-in-law Kim (the wedding's the 21st, I'm a bridesmaid yay!!!:D ) hates ham and bacon but likes pork chops  We think she's nuts. I love ham. That is what I always picked for my birthday dinner when I was younger. I remember when I was 11 and wanted to go to Chucky Cheese I think my dad was a little sad, "You want Pizza but I already bought you a ham"

Well, that dish that they accidently served you, smelled, absolutely DISGUSTING; it smelled like they scooped up the rotting clams, etc. from the last high tide in Long Beach:lol:
No kidding. I was feeling rather nauseated just looking at the shrimp on my plate. People EAT shrimp? Blech.
