View Full Version : Friday the 13th: The Series
Fallon97 04-08-2007, 11:57 PM I use to love this show! In fact, it's one of my all-time favorite shows ever. The premise was about locating cursed objects, but I mostly loved the relationships between Micki, Ryan, and Jack. Micki and Ryan were so interesting together, and would have made a great couple.
Did anybody else watch Friday the 13: The Series? :)
dandelion wine 05-29-2007, 10:55 PM Yeah, I used to watch it every weekend and was a big fan, too. :) Haven't seen any of the episodes since the Sci-Fi Channel decided to drop it, but it reminded me of just how creepy some of those were and I really liked both Micki and Ryan.
coffield3 05-29-2007, 11:01 PM Ive never heard of it? So its nothing to do with the movies then??

The only thing they have in common is their title. Otherwise, you won't find any resemblence to the movies.

I liked Micki and Ryan too. I hated it when they replaced Ryan with Johnny. The show was never the same again.

Johnny was no Ryan. I'm not real big on replacing actors in tv shows/movies. Whether or not the audience has grown to love or hate the character, once Ryan left, it just wasn't the same at all to me.
Fallon97 07-29-2007, 03:43 AM Hi, littleinsomniac and Walking Tall
I always love meeting fans of the show, but I really, really love meeting Ryan and Micki fans. I loved them so much. In fact, Micki and Ryan were the main reason I loved the show and looked forward to watching it every week. I can still remember, during its original run back in 1987, how badly my mother and I wanted them to hook up. I loved when Ryan would get jealous of one of Micki's boyfriends. His crush on Micki was so cute. Micki was Ryan's dreamgirl, and he absolutely adored her. They were so cute together, had awesome chemistry, and would have made a great couple. I loved their friendship and their interactions.
I hated when Ryan left the show. I cried for 2 weeks after he left. I loved Ryan, Micki, and Jack's close friendship. It was not the same without him.

True......and I liked it that way.
Fallon97 09-28-2008, 11:20 PM Friday the 13th: The Series is new on DVD this week.
TheLurkerKing 03-05-2009, 09:48 PM Yes, I think I saw every episode. A much underappreciated program (IMHO) the three years it was on. I'm glad it's finally getting some recognition.
Torgo 03-17-2009, 12:20 PM Huge fan of the show, watched it when it originally aired, then caught up on the reruns on Chiller.
And just like when the show was originally on I stopped watching when Johnny joined whilte watching the reruns.
