Please,I remember a song that was played twice during the same episode. I have not had any luck (so far) in finding out the name of the song or who did it (although I am almost sure that it was Nilsson). The lyrics are about a cowboy and the rythm is slow. At least one of the times it is playing during the episode, Eddie is in bed and his dad is tucking him in.

Brett, Kimo is talking about a song within a couple of episodes - not the opening theme song..

Todd, was the theme song to EF "Best Friend" used in all 73 eps. of EF at the beginning of the show?

THANKS!!! I joined this just to get this question answered. I loved the show as a kid and now I have 2 little boys of my own and kind of make up my own lyrics. Does anyone know if it's available?

I found it on "The Very Best of Everybody's Talkin'" Harry Nillson. Unfortunately, it is a very different version, not the soft lullaby that we heard on the show. If anyone ever finds that version, please let me know. Thanks!
