Laverne & Lenny on Laverne & Shirley. I thought they would make a good couple. Lenny might actually be normal if he got away from Squiggy.

There was always some snap and crackle whenever Andy (Gary Sandy) and Bailey (Jan Smithers) shared scenes on WKRP. I think they would've made a cute couple!!

How about Judy Robinson & Don West of Lost in Space??

I think Mel and Flo had a thing for one another on Alice. They should have gotten together.

Also, Schneider and Ann Romano should hooked up on One day At A Time.

Getting together ONE time on vacation doesn't count! I wanted Alex Reiger and Elaine Nardo to date and eventually marry. But besides that one time, they never got together, just flirted with the idea.

I know I'm alone with this, but I thought Paige and Adam from "Ellen" should have gone out. But I guess she thought she was too good for him, and he knew he didn't have a chance. Still, I think they would have made a nice couple. I also think Paige and Joe would have made a good couple. She seemed to get his sense of humor. Not that I'm suggesting that Paige dates all the male cast members, lol. It's either Adam OR Joe, not both.

I wonder if the producers (like they'd care) knew that the fans of Three's Company wanted Jack and Janet to be a couple so bad. I know it would have ruined the show during it's run if Jack and Janet fell in love and still lived in the apartment with Teri. However, if they weren't planning a spin-off, they could have gotten together in the big finale.

JOEY and PHOEBE from friends...sorry Mike and Phoebe fans...Joey and Phoebe had a special bond since neither of them had a real clue ...all they did was be the supports for their friends respective relationships... Joey was the first to know and kept the secret of Monica and Chandler...he remained supportive to them...Phoebe was the cheerleader of R and R ...she coined the phrase "lobsters." and edged Ross when Emma was born to think about him and Rachel ...plus she drove him to the airport to catch Rachel before she left for Paris to tell her he loved her... Phoebe and Joey were hinted at a few times in the show ...but i think they would have made a great couple... plus then everyone would have been paired together....

Frasier and Roz! Definitely!
Phoebe and Joey -- I do like that they didn't get together so it wasn't a complete pairing of the Friends (Monica/Chandler, Ross/Rachel), but honestly, they fit more than Monica and Chandler.
Mary Ann & the Professor (Gilligan's Island). I don't know why, but I always felt like they would fit together. I don't think they ever eluded or tried to make them fit, but they just did to me.

Gilligan & Mary Ann and The Professor & Ginger --- Gilligan's Island

Shirley Partridge & Reuben Kincaid --- The Partridge Family

Joey & Phoebe --- Friends

Frasier & Roz --- Frasier

Rudy Huxtable & Kenny (aka Bud) --- Cosby Show (when they got older)

Denise Huxtable & Dwayne Wayne --- A Different World

Mallory & Skippy --- Family Ties (by far my biggest disappointment. I hated Nick!)

Dr. Jerry Robinson and Carol Kester (Bob Newhart Show). They shared a hot kiss in Season 3 (this is before she met and married Larry Bondurant) - there were sparks there! Marcia Wallace even mentioned in the episode commentary of "My Boy Guillermo" (Season 4 DVD) that Peter Bonerz was a very good kisser!!

There was always some snap and crackle whenever Andy (Gary Sandy) and Bailey (Jan Smithers) shared scenes on WKRP. I think they would've made a cute couple!! Unfortunately, the writers decided to pair Bailey and Johnny Fever ( EWWWWWWW ) :(

How about Judy Robinson & Don West of Lost in Space??
Apparently, they were supposed to eventually marry, had the series lasted longer ( So said Billy Mumy, anyway )

My own choices for "Should have been couples":

Frasier and Roz{Frasier} ( To me thats would have been the logical way to end the series )
Mallory and Skippy{Family Ties} (Nick should have been coupling with the guy who shared his prison cell....after I revealed his drug smuggling operation to the cops! :p )
Brent and Lacey {Corner Gas}......of course this show isnt over yet, so, theres STILL hope!

Yes, Alex and Elaine were a great match. Remember that kiss they shared in the second season ep "Nardo Loses Her Marbles"? WOW!

Add another vote for Frasier & Roz. I think those two would have been really good for each other.

They should have let Jo date girls on the Facts of Life because she had no real chemistry with men.
