Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan is desperate to play Diana, Princess of Wales in a movie about the tragic royal's life.

Lohan has confessed playing Diana--who was killed in a Paris car crash in 1997--is her dream movie role.

She says, "It would be amazing. She gave back a lot and was an amazing woman."

Earlier this year, Lohan's mother Dina expressed her fears Lindsay would die in a similar manner to Diana, because she is pursued by paparazzi photographers, as the princess was on the night she died.

You know, she has been violating that probation for a while now. I am surprised they barely caught her driving. Abt three weeks ago we had just pulled into a gas station in Malibu and Paris had just left after putting gas in. I wasn't sure if it was her, but the gas station attendant told me it was. I was like, "Hey, she is not supposed to drive." He was like "huh?" and I told him that she had her license taken away back in September. So that crazy ass b*tch thinks she can break the law and not pay!? I hope, I just hope she gets in trouble, but yeah, $$$$ talks.
