Lionel and Jenny - I like Mike Evans with Berlinda Tolbert a lot better. They seemed more compatible than Damon Evans and her. Mike and Berlinda looked as though they could had been married in real life. Too bad there weren't more stories with them and/or around the family.

I did not like Mike and Gloria because of his superiority attitude. Mike thought he was superior over Gloria because of her not going to college. He was at times an outright jerk towards Gloria. Yes, given the way Archie is I can see why he was that way but he was living in Archie's house. If I could not handle someone's views especially when it was out of ignorance like Archie I would not had stayed there and drive myself crazy.

Lionel and Jenny unlike Gloria and the meathead Lionel was always respectful of both Jenny and George while meathead was a disrespectful condescending freeloading narcissist.
