I live on the East Coast, and for the past few months, in the afternoon, 2 local UHF stations have been running "My Games Fever". The show is 2 hours and it is an interactive show where home viewers are the contestants and compete to solve word puzzles via cell phone text messaging.

The show is part of the "My Network TV" programming that Fox is syndicating.

I have heard that the show airs on the East Coast and in the Midwest.

Has anyone seen the show?

Any comments, good or bad?

Thanks in advance!

It's a ripoff from a GSN original late-night game show called "PlayMania", which is just a much better show. Games Fever is poorly done all around--- the games are either tedious or unbearably easy; the set is horribly decorated; the hosts get on my nerves; "PlayMania" is alot more upbeat and personal of a show. The hosts ask you how you are, talk to you like a friend, and there's literally never a dull moment; GamesFever's sound effects are simply horrible while Playmania's are often hilarious. Besides that, PlayMania has a new email topic every night (always interesting) while GamesFever sometimes has little messages a line or two long saying how much they love a certain host, BORRRRRRINGGGGG. GamesFever gives away alot more money however, but still, if you just want to relax and have a fun game show experience for 2 hours, PlayMania is the show you want to watch. Coincidentally, it's one year anniversary/birthday bash is tonight! PlayMania's hosts are also alot more fun that GamesFever's, my personal fave being DANCING WITH THE STARS ex-competitor (just voted off last week) and LINGO co-host, Miss USA 2004 Shandi Finnessey. Great show: on a scale of one to ten, PlayMania gets a 10; GamesFever gets a 5.
