Keaton - though not exactly minor, the show was to focus on the parents. He stole the show right out from under Gabe Kotter/Kaplan. I'm not sure if she was a minor character in this case, but Farrah Fawcett completely overshadowed Kate Jackson the first season of Charlie's Angels. KJ already had 2 hit shows (Dark Shadows, The Rookies) to her credit when CA first came on the air, while Farrah was still a relative newcomer. Farrah was then replaced with Cheryl Ladd, who became even more beloved by the fans. Kate left the show in 1979 and CA was not successful replacing her. Once Kate was out, the show never recovered. comedyfreak 04-05-2007, 05:36 AM Flo on Alice Florence Johnston on The Jeffersons Bull and Selma on Night Court Marvo301 04-07-2007, 03:22 AM Danny Partridge (Danny Bonaduce) on "The Partridge Family" Eric Paddon 04-07-2007, 03:37 AM Dr. Smith on "Lost In Space." sunshinefizzy 04-07-2007, 08:40 AM Darlene Conner. She got the most attention out of the kids and sometimes was more entertaining then Roseanne. comedyfreak 04-07-2007, 11:15 AM Dr. Smith on "Lost In Space." I was going to choose him, Will and The Robot, but the show isn't a sitcom. They did take over though, LOL. Eric Paddon 04-07-2007, 04:42 PM Yeah, but the title of the thread did not specifically say sitcom. ;) MikeLutton 04-07-2007, 05:17 PM fonzie on happy days we know how that turned out lol wil from Fresh prince |
