there were 3 episodes of "Cheers" when we did hear Veras voice; and in 1 of them they also showed her legs. Her voice was done by George Wednts real wife.
Also in 1 of those episodes they DID show her, but her face was obscured.

On Family Matters, Steve Urkel`s parents were always spoken about, especially earlier on, but were never seen.

On Married...With Children, Peg Bundy`s mother wasn't seen either. She yelled from upstairs, and we would hear her walk, LOL, but she wasn't shown.

Also on the Bob Newhart Show, there was the Tippy Tupperman, the urologist's wife. She was never seen but always referred to as an extremely annoying person! Bernie Tupperman worked on the same floor as Bob and Jerry.

On Gilligan's Island, the castaways would sometimes mention people back home -- especially "Skinny Mulligan" and "Fatso Flannigan," Gilligan's friends.

Ruth Buzzi played Screech's mom? I do know we saw Zack's dad, played by two different actors (one on SBTB, and one on the Miss Bliss episodes). The second actor was John Sanderford, probably best known for his 1985-89 stint on the now-defunct ABC soap opera, Ryan's Hope.

I Love Lucy - Ethel's mother. In the episode "Fred and Ethel Fight"from season 1. Fred tells Lucy and Ricky that she went home to her mother when she got made at him for the smoking the appartment gag. But, we never seen her and we only see her father in the episode "Ethel's Hometown" from season four.

Also, I think Lucy's great-great-great-grandfather Anguse McGillicuddy was mention in the Scottland episode but, I don't rememer if he was ever seen.

And here's one NO ONE has thought of:Mr.Mooney's wife Irma on "The Lucy Show"(the Danfield,Conneticut AND The California Episodes)-she was mentioned by Mr.Mooney,but was never seen.

Fran's father (I think... in Italy in the translation he became her uncle) on The Nanny.
