I recently saw the UM episode where they attempt to link the Atlanta Olympics bombing to some right-wing ideologues from Idaho. To me, this theory seems as good as any other. The backpack used in the Atlanta bombing was the same backpack that a Army surplus shop owner claimed he had sold to these other men who had robbed banks and detonated bombs in the pacific northwest.

I know Eric Rudolph is the "official" suspect, but my question is, what evidence do they have that it was him? It always seemed to me that his involvement was sort of "forced" by investigators because they had no other good leads. They seemed to go solely on the fact that he had bombed an abortion clinic in nearby Birmingham. However, unless there is forensic evidence tying him to the Atlanta bombing, I am not convinced.

Rudolph always seemed like he had a specific motive for his bombings (abortion clinics) and I see no motive for him to randomly bomb the Olympic games.

One thing I did not know is that someone called in a bomb threat 30 minutes prior to the bomb going off. Have they ever done voice analysis and concluded it was Rudolph's voice?

Rudolph may very well have done it, but I would like to see the evidence. Can anyone provide me with the evidence the Feds claim to have?

Rudolph and the guys from Idaho seem to have similar ideologies and it would not totally shock me if they were loosely connected somehow.
