This show seemed ok for first episode or 2 eventhough it wasn't really that funny but then after that it is falling flat on its face trying to be funny. You can go through an entire episode and hardly laugh at all.

The was a great scenario for laughs with the Oriental lady's traditional parents coming over expecting her to be married but since they couldn't even make that funny this show's days are numbered.

That guy who played the Oriental father also played the father in Wayne's World 2 and the scene when he first met Wayne is absolutely HILARIOUS!! Now THAT is comedy!!

I know how you feel. I watched it for the first episode or so and it seemed okay, but it was like the characters on the show were trying to hard to be funny. The show is also a bit tasteless.

This is what happens when ABC tries to create a situation comedy that's not "traditional", and is supposed to appeal to those "trendy" viewers that's supposed to buy the advertisers' "blue chip" products the network is also trying to appeal to. Yes, "EMERGENCY" tries, but too much. Being on after "ACCORDING TO JIM", which appeals to a different audience, doesn't help, either.

I find the show mildly amusing at best. If it weren't for Jonathan Silverman and David Arquette I wouldn't watch at all. I do like the 80's music that's in the show, brings back memories.
