View Full Version : Girl Sexually assaulted in woods?
Gangreen 03-30-2007, 08:35 PM The girls riding home on her bike, i believe it was 70s or 80s based on the style of the bike. she was riding on the side of the road and had to urinate. She stopped and went into the woods to urinate, and I believe thats when she was sexually assaulted. I remember When she was found and brought to the hospital,Her eyes were blood red, it Was a White teen, she was probably 16-19
also does anyone remember the story of the guy of fell off an overpass and had gotten amnesia?
Tap Dancer 03-31-2007, 03:33 PM Oooh, that's another one of my "cases I'm fuzzy on" because I know exactly who you're talking about...except for her name. :p
Gangreen 06-20-2010, 09:38 AM im going to bump this in the hopes that someone else knows what im talking about and i am not completely insane lol
crystaldawn 06-20-2010, 09:36 PM Neither one of those ring a bell really. The one that came to mind about falling off the overpass was I believe a Special Alert. It seemed like there was one about a boy falling off an overpass (they didn't know whether he had jumped purposely or fell). I believe he was unable to communicate and UM was trying to find his family.
There was a story of "Debby" who was abducted and raped. She was white but wasn't a teenager. In the UM segment they show her staggering out of the woods naked. Not sure about her eyes but she was shot in the face and from what they said her injuries concerning that were horrific.
justins5256 06-21-2010, 09:16 AM The details do not sound familiar to me.
Do you recall when this may have aired on the show? What network the show was on when you watched it (NBC, CBS, Lifetime, Spike), or even what some of the other stories were that aired along with this story?
Is there a possibility that the story may have aired on a different show such as America's Most Wanted?

That's what I've been thinking, especially since it is easy to confuse UM with AMW.
Tap Dancer 06-21-2010, 01:05 PM It's been a little more than 3 years since I posted and I still don't know the woman's name. :( I know this was an UM segment! I've never watched AMW. I wish I could help you...
Mastermind 06-21-2010, 02:06 PM This isn't the rope rapist, case is it?
Gangreen 06-22-2010, 12:25 AM Well this was mid 90s, i dont remember too much since i was merely a child back then. but i specifically remember what might of been a picture of her in the hospital bed, and her eyes were bloodshot. this stuck with me ever since that episode. she was heading home on her bike, stopped to take care of herself and thats when it happened. i dont remember exact details because when your 6 years old you dont understand all that crime mumbo jumbo, but i assume she was sexually asaulted.
brianh333 06-22-2010, 12:34 AM this is really starting to ring a bell (something about you mentioning the girl with the bloodshot eyes again, just clicked), so let me try taking this a different direction for a bit...
I would swear that I remember a segment from the old HBO show "Autopsy" that had to do with a case similar to this, and I remember thinking how weird it was that a show called "Autopsy" would profile a case of someone who survived.
Do you remember anything from your case about the girl recovering from her attack, and the segment showing her playing the piano (rather well) towards the end?
ETA: If I'm on the right track here, I may have found something - the Autopsy segment was titled "The Story of Anna".

WOW!!!! THATS it
that is a terrible story, The image of her on the bed was powerful enough to stick with me for 14 years!

I just watched that segment and I don't think I've ever seen that before. I had never heard of that show, but we don't get HBO. Who the heck am I thinking about? LOL
