If I were a character on that show, I would have pressed charges against that woman. It seems like when she lost that weight and got a make over in 1983, she became more violent. It is comical, but still scary. I remember being eight years old and watching Nell and Addy having that shoving match in the living and then remember Nell bodyslamming Addy on the couch (which also wound up in the opening sequence). What do you guys make of Nell's behaviour?

Yes she did get rough, didn't she? When she slammed Addie on the couch, that was pretty bad. But I don't think Addie weighed that much.

Addy was a tall, little thing. It was unecessary for Nell to do that.

nell was a coke addict. i would say that would account for her rage issues. actually, i looked her up on nndb.com. I learned some new stuff i didnt know about her.

She got seriously dramatic and violent during season three and beyond. It seemed as though all felt her wrath except Grandpa, Chief and Matthew.

it was in the script that's why  it had nothing to do with Nells drug habit. She was playing a character.

I know that it had nothing to do with the script. But is seemed like she had a slight personality chance in season three. She was crazy.

I think it's just her acting. I seriously doubt that she would try to hurt anyone on purpose in front of a live audience while cameras are rolling. The only problem Nell had on the set of GAB was that she hardly went to rehearsals. I've never heard of her hurting anyone on the set or off.

Keep in mind that I am talking about the character "Nell". I know that she would not hurt anyone in real life. The character began taking her fustration out on her loved ones. It made for great comedy but still scary. LOL.
