Last nite I was watching the Andy Griffith show. It was the one where Aunt Bee's cousin came to visit & he was a bit of a shiyster. KInda a likeable con artist. Well her cousin was Jack Albertson. I had seen that ep before but had no idea Jack was on there. THat was pretty neat. It makes yr kinda sad that Freddie never got to guest star in alot of stuff like that...

You know what's really funny about that episode is the Jack as Aunt Bea's cousin kinda looked like he was interested in Clara and of course she was played by Hope Summers. When Hope Summers comes on Chico, she was one of those sisters from the garage sale, he couldn't really stand her. Remember the end? Chico took the one sister by the arm and Ed was left with her. So funny!

Just recently I saw his I Love Lucy appearance again (Season 5, 1956, "Bon Voyage").

Jack also appeared in an episode of The Lucy Show, "Lucy and Viv Open a Restaurant" (Season 2, 1964), an episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show (Season 1, 1962, "The Twizzle") and had several Mister Ed appearances. Not to mention even The Donna Reed Show and...:)

(Season 2, 1964), an episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show (Season 1, 1962, "The Twizzle")

I believe Jack actually played that piano as he did in the Chico & The Man episode where Ed woirked in a singles bar and Jack had a good voice for the music he sang, reminded me of Burl Ives type of music

Jack Albertsons Andy Griffith show ep was on the other day & I saw it. He was good in it. I've seen it a number of times over the yrs ever since the show was origionally on.

I also caught Ronny Graham (Rev. Bemis) in a MASH ep the other day & in something else too. I forget what tho. He is listed in the credits of MASH as having something to do with the show but I forget what right now. Brain dead lol...

Ronny Graham was one of the writers on M*A*S*H, I think he also wrote comedy for several other sitcoms as well as some movies....

I believe in the M*A*S*H episode Ronny Graham's character was a on leave but he was needed at the 4077th to give a wounded soilder a transfusion and I also believe he was in a bomb disposal unit.

Yes and he was drunk (because he had been on leave) when he came in to give the transfusion, OMG it was hysterical. He fainted when they showed him the needle! LOL one of my favorite M*A*S*H episodes.

Every time I see that episode I smile thinkning of Reverend Bemis, Ronnie did a great job as a drunk and fearing the needle
