So I'm trying out for the school musical tomorrow, something I've never done before (besides elementary school). I figure it's my senior year and it's something I've always wanted to try, so I am. I'm not amazing at singing or anything, and I probably won't make it so I don't know why I'm doing this lol, but I am. To top that off I have a cold and my voice got really hoarse yesterday because that's ALWAYS how things happen to work out. So, yeah, I'm doubly screwed now. :lol: Ugh. Why am I doing this to myself? ohno: Oh well, wish me luck. I'll need it.

I did all the "fall plays" and "spring musicals" all throughout high school. While auditioning, it's easiest if you clear your head of all thoughts, with the exception of the piece you're performing or the song you're singing.

Yeah, best of luck to you. Just try not to think about it too much. Have fun with it. Tomorrow will be over and done with before you know it. The important part is that you are going for it.

I was way too shy to ever audition in plays,etc in HS and I regret it.

I never had the guts to do the musicals because I can't sing and the choir teacher was an ass.
