Joe said the ESPN executive, Norby Williamson, said to him that in reviewing the Monday Football Tapes, he noticed that when the conversation from Mike and Tony got back to Joe, Joe would talk about Football.

Meaning that he never continued whatever Tony and Mike was discussing, he would just CHANGED THE SUBJECT back to Football-LOL

Well have have our answers. I'm going to watch the Monday night Football game tonight I have on Tape when the eagles played the Packers to see if I can pick that up

More proof than ever that our friends at espn care about everything but football on their " football broadcasts"

I love Jaws but I can't see him talking about anything but football, It is amazing how stupid some of these executives are. I Thought Joe did a great job in the booth, he voiced his opinion, wasn't afraid to disagree with the other guys, the only thing I didn't like about him was very often he contradicted himself thru the course of a game.

I will try and see if I can catch some of that on the Eagles/Packers Monday Night Game-lol I guess Joe felt he was the one who was above Tirico and Kornheiser since he was doing it for 18 years

That's the stupidest reason I ever heard to let a football broadcaster go.

Well I guess they are saying that he didn't want to get involved in whatever Tony and Mike was talking about when it was his turn to talk. You can't change the subject-lol

It's a football game and the ONLY thing they should be talking about is football.

I'm going to see if I can give you some examples after I rewatch the Eagles/Packers Monday Night Game

i beleive the reason he may have done this is because the director may have asked him to, may have been rushed into it or was just bored by whatever mike , tony or whomever else was saying, at least howard interjected whenever frank ,don, keith, alex joe or oj said anything! brownie5960

I can't stand Joe Theismann. He dumped his wife for Cathy Lee Crosby. When they broke up seven years later, he sued her for half of everything she had, and she was very sick at the time. That's the wife in me talking, lol. I also think Bill Belichick is a jerk for cheating on his wife, and breaking up his girlfriend's marriage. Ditto for Johnny Damon dumping his wife, and he was with the Sox at the time.
