Does anyone know what these DVD's are about, are these clips from Bob Hope Specials or did he actually have a show each year, possibly a summer replacement show.

Thanks

For the record, 'VINTV', the closest Hope ever had in a weekly show was "BOB HOPE PRESENTS THE CHRYSLER THEATER" (1963-'67), which was an anthology series in which he introduced a variety of stories [some of them doubling as pilot films for potential series] featuring famous celebrities and those talents under MCA/Universal contract. These, I'm sure, are NOT in that DVD collection. Hope's forte was his monthly series of variety specials (at least six to eight every season), of which the DVD in question is chock full of. Whether the Christmas specials are included, I don't know- they were 90 minute condensed film versions of the USO shows he delivered to our Armed Forces overseas (with Vietnam in focus during the latter half of the '60s). Hope preserved virtually all of his TV specials intact.

My guess is...the DVD is a "highlights" package.
