View Full Version : If you buy two Tv shows on DVD at the same time, do you decide to watch
TVFactFan 03-26-2007, 09:12 AM the DVD last you feel is the better of the two shows or it doesn;t matter what order you watch them in? For example, I will be buying Maude and the Jeffersons and will watch Maude first and save the best for last which is the Jeffersons. Did the same thing a couple of years ago with Three's Company and Fresh Prince
Brian Damage 03-26-2007, 10:44 AM It all depends on my mood. Sometimes, if I am eagerly awaiting a particular show, I'll watch it first.
I like to watch my favorite first.
applecherry 03-26-2007, 06:00 PM I Like Watching By Seasons.
I Have All In The Family And The Jeffersons. Which Is A Spin Off From All In The Family.
I Would Hold Off On The Jeffersons & Watch All In The Family Up Untill The Jeffersons Leave All In The Family & Move On Up With Their Sitcom. And That's When I Start Watch The Jeffersons.
Works For Me.
TVFactFan 03-26-2007, 06:11 PM Well this Thread can be erased since the store I went to had ONE copy of the Jeffersons and No copies of Maude. So it was be no BEST FOR LAST_lol
freshprinceofLA 03-26-2007, 10:14 PM I usually watch the show that I feel is the best of the 2.
Ireneparalegal 03-26-2007, 10:16 PM Whichever one I get out of the damn plastic wrap easier, is the winner!
By the way Sol, you said you weren't buying Maude, so I am assuming the Jeffersons is the one you will watch.

I was going to buy it but the store didn't have it in stock so it will just be the Jeffersons
BensonFan 03-28-2007, 10:55 PM I'll let you know if it ever happens. ;)
snl 70s show fan 03-28-2007, 11:14 PM it usally dosent matter wich order i watch them in but next month i plan on buying one day at a time and wkrp and more than likely i will watch one day at a time first because its been a very long time since ive seen it and ive seen wkrp eps on youtube recently
bencasey 03-29-2007, 04:42 PM Well considering I still have about 10,000 hours of shows to transfer to DVD that will never come out, I'm a long way from having the luxury of watching the sets I purchase.
Ireneparalegal 03-29-2007, 04:45 PM I got Barney Miller (season one) and S.W.A.T. (season one) the other day. They are still wrapped and I haven't any time to watch them. Some day.

It's no a such thing as not having time to do something you like. Irene rip that plastic off the DVD's and do what feels good and stop playing-lol
TVFactFan 03-29-2007, 06:39 PM I am the same with Solomon on this one; usually I have the very best for the last; right now, I am in the middle of watching Hawaii Five-O, and I cannot wait till that is over, so I can START watching Maude...woooohooooo:)
Exactly, never watch the show you love the MOST first, save that for when you get your favorite meal-lol
