I don't really think that Della Reese is a Christian. I read in the paper that she was a minister of some different religion. That kinda changes how I feel about the show. I mean the whole "be good and you'll get into Heaven" thing kinda throws me. Sorry to get kinda personal.

Speaking of Della Reese, I just heard today that she suffered a stroke about 6 months ago. My aunt had told my mother about this. Her name(Della Reese) happened to come up in a conversation that my mother and my aunt were having on the phone this morning (they were speaking upon the topic of diabeties, which my mother is also diabetic as well)(sorry if the spelling is wrong). My aunt heard that Ms. Reese has a long hard recovery ahead of her. I'm sure that when Roma heard about this she was very upset being that she and Ms. Reese are very close friends.

I don't think the show is meant to only be targeted towards Christian. I think its suppose to be targeted to anyone who believes in God. Correct me if I'm wrong, since I don't know much about other religions, but I think there are angels believed in in Islam, Judaism, and other religions that believe in only one God.

You are probably right about the angels' beliefs. Then again, how can it be "belief" when it is a matter of corporeal knowledge for them? I have corporeal knowledge that I am sitting in front of my computer beating the keys for this message. It is a matter of Faith belief that because I obey'd Y'shua's call for Salvation, that I will be with Him in glory. I have no fear of death, but I am not keen on that horrible discomfort most experience when their wit leave their body.
One take-away I got from the series, that the angels served "gawd." I do not recall any reference to The Messiah; not saying that He was not referenced, if so, it just did not stick.
The muslim belief in allah is one god conform to what I understand of the kuran. They believe the God of Christians and Jews to be pantheon, because of God-the-Father, God-the-Son, and God-the-Holy Spirit, make for 3 Gods. The concept of three-in-one is a bit of a bother for most to grasp, so they will have no problem assering that allah is Not the God of Christians and Jews.
BTW, initially, I used the 3-in-1 oil concept to try to understand, but it seemed flawed. Then when I started watching the Vorlons in Babylon 5 who could parse a piece of themselves off to go for an incognito out-n-about within a host. That helped with a part of one disconnected from the one. Of course, if the Vorlons are a life squared, the God must surely be more than life cubed.

This could open the door to judgement accusations. I do not have a problem with being judged fairly, and I think it is fair judgement as indicated in the scriptural caution.
We do have many different religions, based upon some concept of a deity and their duties thereof. The big question should be; by what qualification do I get into Heaven? Even Heaven has its entry requirements.
Pity religiholics and churchians. I believe they are quite game to violate the Third Commandment; doing evil using God's name. Remember! Y'shua did NOT nullify the Ten Commandments. He levied an 11th. He *paid* the Sin price.
