Getting New Service? My mom just got rid of Comcast and decided to get another Cable Provider called Verizon but never FOUND OUT what Channels they offer-lol She said Verizon offers a 140 channels but she doesn't know if they have the channels she liked watching when she had Comcast-lol Here is the funny part, she has already scheduled Verizon to come out and Install the Cable Service on Monday-lol


Who the hell schedules a Cable Company to come out without finding out what channels they have?

With 140 channels, you are bound to find something you like.

Sometimes with 140 channels it ends up being mostly paid programming channels (infomercials), foreign channels, educational (local) channels, a lot of sports channels (something you'd like Solomon) and with HD now in the picture, there are a lot of channels that are duplicates.

There is something she is bound to like, but when I hear abt "over 100 channels" I have to laugh because like I mentioned above, a lot of garbage.

lol...now i'm working in reverse from you mom. I don't care what package/channels I get so long as I get the versus network. That's the only channel I care anything about!
