I was listening to my favorite Thursday morning radio show yesterday morning, when Bill Daily made a comment that I hardly could believe my ears that I was hearing. The DJs were talking about movies and botched plastic surgery, and asked Bill if he'd ever considered having something like that done. He said no, character actors really didn't need to do that. The DJs were trying to get Bill to tell who had plastic surgery, and I really fully expected him to say "Barbara Eden". But instead, he said that he thought Bob Newhart had had something done. I almost fell off my chair in surprise!

No Way!!! Couldn't be!!!

Hmmm you think Bill said that as a joke maybe? I can't imagine Bob even considering it. And I saw a show about him that was quite recent and I didn't think he looked different, except older (nothing wrong with that).

I believe I've heard in the past (can't remember where) that Newhart has had plastic surgery to his face.
