Or do you hang out with a mixed gender group?

I'm a girl and currently I hang out with mostly girls, but it wasn't always this way. In junior high, my very best friend in the whole world was a guy, and I also had a LOT more guy friends than I do now. In the past, I generally felt more comfortable hanging with guys.

For the last few years, though, I've lost touch with a lot of my guy friends, and now I hang out with girls. I have one or two guys friends, but that's about it.

What about you? :)

for some reason, opposite more so. I tend to be better friends with males than females, but I have no clue why. This has been the case since high school

The majority of people I hang out with are guys, but there are a few girls in the mix.
Most of the girls I hung out with either got married or I just lost touch with.

Well I think up until this past year I've had more guy friends. I think it has been that way since I was little. All of the friends my parents would hang out with when I was little had boys around my age so it was either makes friends with them or sit around being bored, so I think ever since then It's been easier for me to make friends with guys. But this year is actually the first year I have more girls as friends.

I seem to have more female friends. I have only really hung out with very few male friends in my lifetime. It wasn't by choice. It was mainly due to intimdation during my early years.

I like hanging out with either sex depending on my mood. Sometimes a female friend would be more understanding while talking. On the other hand, hanging out with male friends is funner and more laidback.

I don't seem to make many male hangout friends so easily. I don't tend to click with them on that level. It makes me wonder why. Is it because I have pushed them away? Do I have that sense of personality that makes them ward off me eventually? It's heartbreaking. There are many times when I feel like letting my hair down and just acting relaxed with males around, but I don't really have many male friends. The ones I make end up quietly leaving me. :( It's a pity because I really want to make more male friends to hang out with. I just don't know how. I don't have that "click" aura around me, I suppose.
