I'm really concerned about my boyfriend because for the longest time; he acts out his dreams. I think it's mainly when he's having a bad one.

Just this morning around 3 am; he was acting out a bad dream and he made so much noise that he woke up my father and me. He was in the closet and banging really hard against the wall; and it was so noisy that we both thought (me and my father) that there was a psycho outside banging on the house. I got scared and nervous at first until I found out it was him.
By the way, there was another episode where he went outside but he didn't go near the street so that was a close one.

Eventually when he wakes up from his episode, he does remember what he did and everything. Does anybody out there go thru the same thing?

I need some advice and/or feedback on what can be done.
Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Up until I was 15, I would sleepwalk and talk in my sleep. On occasions, I would get up and act out whatever it was I was dreaming abt. I had been doing this since I was around 5 years old. My sister would tell me what I had done or said during the night, but I wouldn't have any recollection of it.

Like I said, it suddenly just stopped when I hit my teen years.

If it gets really out of hand, I would suggest speaking to a doctor abt this who may then refer him to a sleep specialist, if it is deemed necessary.

I use to sleep walk when I was little and I would actually go into my parents room and talk to them at the same time  . Or I would wake up in the middle of the night downstairs on the living room sofa or floor. And the next morning I wouldn't remember a thing. That lasted until I was about 12 or 13. Now I just talk in my sleep.
